I take great pride in the art of butchery

Tate’s always loved everything about meat since he was a young boy, growing up in the country. He even called his first dog MEAT! The passion has only grown wilder as the meat industry has evolved into what it is today and the many choices we all have to eat superior quality ethically sourced produce.

Being of German background this has only added to the spice in Tate’s blood for butchery.

Tate has two gorgeous children who he adores, the fact he can share the love of his art and its produce with them is his greatest satisfaction. His favorite pastime is taking his beloved boxer Lula on long walks and runs.

Tate’s wife Tania also shares every bit of his passion coming from an Italian family where naturally food is everything. Together they have brought their  dream to life and continue to build on it everyday.

Experience

Tate’s experience in the industry has taken him to some of the best high end butcher shops in Melbourne. These include Managing Cannings Free Range butchers in Kew and butchering for Peter G Bouchiers, Toorak, Bourke St. and Moorabin.

This family run business has many valuable years of experience between husband and wife which they are sure to pass onto their children to ensure a long future for the uppercuts passion.
